I'm watching this series based on Liu Cixin's novels: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt20242042/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0 It's free on YT: I think they will also air it on Netflix. It's pretty good and faithful to the novels. It drags at some points in the beginning, but that makes sense later.
