Last week saw just one M6.3 in the Kermadec Islands, NZ.

Last one was felt in Puerto Vallarta, México. These earthquakes had been making particulary nervous to mexicans due to last experiencies in this month of September (references to strong earthquakes at 2017, 1985)

Something is going on recently with some earthquakes, this guy at Facebook had been observing that USGS had been deleting earthquakes for whatever reason, the latest this one at Canada.

And USGS does it again, they just deleted the 6.5 magnitude earthquake that was recorded in Canada a while ago.

According to USGS that alert "was falsely generated by an automated system. It was quickly confirmed to be false and manually removed. We will update that page when we know the details of the error".

At a comment, he mentions that may be actually a mistake because there is no data at the seismigraph nor people whom may have feeling it.

Sputnik reported on the deletion. Full article below. They state they don't know what caused the error but will update when they do. There were no personal reports about the quake so it seems that it didn't happen.

Maybe it's a simple error or mistake, or maybe something else is going on that's triggering the seismographs. I guess we'll see if this starts happening more often.

According to the preliminary data, the focus of the earthquake was located at a depth of 15 km in the western part of the British Columbia province, near the cities of Kitimat and Bella Coola.

The US Geological Survey reported on Monday that a significant 6.5 magnitude earthquake struck western Canada, near Queen Charlotte Sound.
There were no immediate reports on casualties or damage inflicted by tremors.

However, a short time after the preliminary report, the USGS deleted the event from its records, leaving the event unconfirmed. The reason for the non-confirmation of the earthquake could possibly be a failure of the monitoring equipment.

"This alert was falsely generated by an automatic system. It was quickly confirmed to be false and manually deleted. We will update this page when we know details of the error," the USGS explained the error in a statement soon after.

Many users, however, at first expressed confusion about the event's disappearance from the service's website, asking residents of British Columbia whether there really were tremors.



According to the Earthquake Track, there have been five minor tremors registered in British Columbia over the past seven days.
The last earthquake reported by the Canadian government service occurred on August 13, about 6 km from the city of Victoria, on the southern tip of Vancouver Island with a magnitude of 2.0.

5.5 M earthquake approx. 2 hours ago by Raspberry Shake automatic systems 121 miles from Frontera, in the Bay of Campeche. Not reported by any agency (USGS or UNAM's Susmologico Nacional de Mexico - checked). Possibly another error.

In a commentary he mentions that these errors may be due to "the electron flux we have had these days (High electrons = Earthquakes (The black spots on the TEC map).
 
From September 4th to 6th 2021, 32 earthquakes have been registered in San Felipe located in the state of Guanajuato, and Santa María del Río, San Luis Potosí, phenomena that occurred within a radius of 50 kilometers.

Now in networks, videos of the appearance of huge cracks in San Felipe are circulating, where it may have something to do with the earthquakes that affect the areas of Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí.
