What are you listening to?

Thea Gimore's cover version of "Bad Moon Rising" by Creedence Clearwater Revival:

I see the bad moon a-rising
I see trouble on the way
I see earthquakes and lightning
I see bad times today

Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

I hear hurricanes a-blowing
I know the end is coming soon
I fear rivers overflowing
I hear the voice of rage and ruin

Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

Hope you got your things together
Hope you are quite prepared to die
Looks like we're in for nasty weather
One eye is taken for an eye

Well, don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

Don't go around tonight
Well, it's bound to take your life
There's a bad moon on the rise

Wow, I love her cover! Heard it for the first time last night. Have you recently watched “Army of the Dead” as well?

Interstellar soundtrack, Hans Zimmer. Tears upon tears upon tears. Even my cat got worried.

I would never have thought I’d post a song from the Eurovision Song Contest. For a start: I am highly disinterested in the whole circus and didn’t watch it this year either but then I accidentally (?) came across the Swiss contribution - and the singer for that matter - a day after the competition.

This singer strikes me as a completely different type altogether: he is unusually deep, seems engaging and kind in the interviews I have since watched and has the courage to be himself on stage. He dances as himself - mainly unchoreographed (from what I can tell) and is really present and then you hear his voice, which is out of this world and then you read his name: Gjon’s Tears. He certainly did move me to tears. I think this young man could be an inspiration for his generation and beyond - provided he manages to stay somewhat grounded…

Acoustic session.

Home, I'm making my way home
My mind's already there
Yes, my mind is

Light, you're with me in the dark
Light my way at night
Let your light shine

Now, this burden weighs me down
The heaviest of weights
Knocks me to the ground
Right down to the

Dew that sparkles on the ground
Blue mountains loom above
Blue mountains loom

And I walk alone one wish
Won't be forgotten
Never forget that

Long, is the path ahead
And though my body tires
And I have far to go
I know I'm going home

Know I'm going home
Know I'm going home
Know I'm going home
Know I'm going home

Home, I'm making my way home
My mind's already there
Yes, my mind is

Light, you're with me in the dark
Light my way at night
Let your light shine

Now, this burden weighs me down
The heaviest of weights
Knocks me to the ground

This burden weighs me down
Burden weighs me down
Burden weighs me down
Burden weighs me down
The soul speaking from the outer dimensions! :D

In case you didn't know, this woman is hitting 80 years in a couple of days! Martha Argerich:

And this man is 78 years old. Daniel Barenboim:

As you have seen above, he is also a conductor:

And here you can see both playing together on the piano (2021)!
