Islam

By threatening her life you indeed show that it is not a religion of hatred ...

Christians constantly take mockery and are always a culteral punching bag, yet they turn the other cheek. Sadly, the Muslim community has a lot of rotten appels. And that is saying it lightly.

If you are unable to live in an open democratic society, accept freedom of speech and prioritises violence over discourse you have outstayed your welcome.

Affaire Mila: French Elites Defend ‘Right to Blasphemy’ in Row Over Schoolgirl Who Criticised Islam

A 16-year-old French girl has earned fame and infamy after a live-stream on Instagram in which she called Islam a “religion of hatred”. The teen is staying home from school and has been put under police protection.

Several top-tier French politicians, including President Emmanuel Macron, have thrown their weight behind the girl who has faced a massive backlash from Muslims and the left after ranting about Islam online.

“The law is clear: we have the right to blasphemy, to criticise, to caricature religions,” he said in an interview to a local newspaper this week. “What is forbidden is to incite hatred and to attack dignity.

He was referring to the ‘Affaire Mila’, a controversy that started in mid-January when a 16-year-old girl – identified only as Mila by French police for security reasons – criticised Islam during an Instagram live-stream.

What did she say?

Mila, who lives in southeast France, said a Muslim guy was making advances to her during the stream, and she made it clear she was a lesbian and “blacks and Arabs” were not her type.

The girl claimed a “Muslim commentator” had called her a “dirty lesbian” and a “dirty -jezebel-” in response, and she immediately went into a rant about Islam.

“The Koran is a religion of hatred, there is only hatred in it. Islam is s**t, your religion is s**t,” she said, describing in obscene terms what she would do to Allah.

What was the reaction?

The video of her outburst has gone viral, prompting a severe backlash in the country that hosts the largest Muslim population in Europe. Mila reportedly began receiving death threats and was forced to move to a new school.

Police had looked into the online abuse she received and into whether she had incited religious hatred, a punishable offence in France. The hate speech investigation has since been dropped after it was ruled that she expressed a personal opinion and did not call for targeting individuals based on their beliefs. Interior Minister Castaner said last week that the teen and her family were put under police protection.

Mila appeared on a popular French talk show last week, where she refused to back down on her comments and insisted on her right to “blaspheme”.

What did other French politicians say?

Apart from Emmanuel Macron, Mila had the support of the right-wing National Rally leader Marine Le Pen, who said the girl had “more courage than the entire political class in power for the past 30 years".

Bruno Retailleau, the Senate leader of the centre-right Les Republicains, praised her for speaking out against what he called the “political Islam that is trampling our values”.

On the other side, Segolene Royal, a former ecology minister and candidate for president, said she stood by Mila’s right to criticise religion, but suggested that the teenager could have shown more “respect, manners and knowledge”.

Abdallah Zekri, a member of the French Council for the Muslim Faith who monitors Islamophobic sentiment in the country, argued that the ‘Affaire Mila’ is not about freedom of speech, but rather about her being “being vulgar and insulting”.

France’s justice minister, Nicole Belloubet, initially called Mila’s remarks “an infringement on freedom of conscience” but backtracked and apologised for being “inaccurate” and “clumsy” following a backlash.

“The Mila case has shed light on the issue of the right to blasphemy. That right exists. In our country, everyone is free to blaspheme. That is self-evident,” she stressed. “France is not a land of fatwas.”

It is an sts planet after all. What are the main differences between true and distorted religion? One of the main determinants is that in distorted religion obedience to authority is one of the great strongholds. In all religion in some more, and in others less, the concept of obedience plays an important role. True religion does not obey. It is free. True religion is a willing process: a free, self-determined action, derived from understanding. It makes people act from their own conviction and never from fear, nor from the desire to please and appease a more powerful person, being, or authority. Obedience to authority has been encouraged by exponents of religion under the half-true and only partly valid argument that humanity was too much enslaved by its passions to be let free. Therefore obedience had to be stressed in order to protect society. For although it is true that the overall development of humanity is not advanced enough to be free of destructive impulses, the laws to prevent such destruction need not be combined with religion. In other words, religion would not have to convey the idea of a stern God-authority in order to prevent crime. There are other means to effect that through civil law. Religion need not be distorted and truth obscured by encouraging humanity’s weakest, sickest, and most immature tendencies. It is those tendencies that are exploited in order to maintain false religion.

One of your great struggles is overcoming the unconscious desire to remain a clinging, protected child, to refuse the apparent hardship of adulthood, self-responsibility, and independence. To the child in you it seems much better to remain helpless, to force the powerful adult world, or God, or any substitute for these two, to take on the responsibility for your life that you yourself should carry. The tremendously damaging effects that this hidden attitude has on the personality can be discovered only when it becomes conscious. But unconsciously you battle against this very awareness, wishfully thinking in your unconscious that the disadvantages of adulthood can be avoided by remaining a child, who at the same time refuses to face the tragic disadvantages of prolonged childhood. This soul-crippling attitude finally succeeds in really making you helpless, while the god-authority you desire to take over your responsibility is just not there. This, in turn, causes bitterness, rebellion, and a deep feeling of injustice. You feel cheated. After all, you have obeyed, often to the letter. But, obedience of this sort always has the wrong motive: “If I obey, you will protect me. You will make decisions for me. I will not be held responsible and I will be rewarded with happiness for being an obedient little child.” Since God does not “reward” such unhealthy attitudes, you must feel cheated. You cannot help but feel injustice in the world. Religion has encouraged and capitalized on this very sick tendency. It has set up rules and dogmas, and has distorted the law into such a rigid concept that humans fell easily into this submissive and dependent attitude.

So where there is outer religious faith, obedience, and appeasement, try to find not only the clinging helplessness, but also the hidden resentment that God has not come forth to provide you with what you need and want, to lead you by the hand, to make life right for you, to eliminate from this earth cruelty and injustice, suffering and pain. Such general complaints are often motivated by the inner subjective disappointment of not being “taken care of.” When you find manifest rebellion and aggressiveness, a drive for overindependence, try to find deep down in you a wish for the strong hand of authority that is utterly good to you, and your disappointment that you could not find it. Your conscious right opinions are worth very little when they are undermined by your unconscious beliefs. If you do not live, experience, and feel these right ideas, they become powerless. They are empty. Only when beliefs are incorporated at the emotional level, integrated in the whole character structure, will they have power. Whenever you wonder why things happen to you that run counter to your beliefs and the spiritual laws you know so well, you can be sure that, at least in some respect, you deviate inwardly. It will be your task to find how and how much you unconsciously deviate from your correct conscious opinions. While you may know perfectly well that God is neither a benign nor a hostile authority, that God has freed us and it is up to us to develop, you may often find that your emotions completely deviate from such knowledge. Problems you carry through many incarnations and through your childhood are instrumental in bringing these unconscious conflicts to the surface.

Once blind obedience is eliminated from religion and from the soul of the individual, rebellion against what is truly good, wise, and loving in religion will cease because religion will lose that tinge of hypocrisy and sanctimoniousness that it so often has for a number of individuals. True religion, genuine spirituality, aims primarily to make you free, to make you strong, to make you responsible so that you do not wait for justice to be dished out to you, but discover your own justice. With the wrong attitude, you not only fail to eliminate your self-imposed helplessness, you encourage it, as well as encouraging false religion, even if the weakness and clinging to authority happens to take a consciously secular form. Thus you must see that such immaturity and soul deviations play hand in hand with false authoritarian religion. Anything false always brings an equally false countermeasure. Developing your own resources and strengths instead of obtaining them from a being outside of yourself is no less divine.

Wasn’t it a Christian church then a mosque? Now a museum? Is this another symbolic show of Islamic fundamentalism?

Also very telling that only Russia protests this. It's not that the West favors Erdogan at all. He rather sticks with his own agenda then act like a puppet. But in matters like this they stay silent. I guess both want to see the downfall of Christianity. Russia is the only nation left with Christian values.

I really do believe that all this Muslim reaction to the French and the French reaction to the Muslim is all part of the great show being put on for us plebs. It's simply to keep tensions high everywhere. It's amazing, is it not, that all these people get air time but no resistance to Covid allowed.? The wars are still money makers so they must continue, Covid or no Covid, collapsed economies or not. The show must go on.

Divide and conquer is easy when you have a segment of the population that is easily upset about everything.

Our multicultural society is perfect for divide and conquer games. Put populations against each other, create chaos - and the people will beg for an authoritarian government that keeps everything and everyone in check and leaves nothing left of our civil rights.

It also distracts and prevents us from rising up against the lock-down policies.

Cartoons don't kill people. People do. But whatever, trying to find reason with these people is impossible. Total nutcases.

I find it interesting (rather funny) that Pakistan wants to bomb France. I think, it is a rant of a fanatic to entertain his audience.

Religious fanatism is always there in Islam. so does in other religions but on a relatively very lesser scale. It is not the religion per se that is the issue, but how rulers use it. Pakistan is a "Army with Nation". It is estmated that 30% to 40% population linked to its Military. It is the similar percentage in Ceauşescu's communist Romania.

Why Pakistan that is carved out of the same geographic location of India became so different? - Politics. After British decided to split the land on religious grounds(1947) and propped up non-religious Jinnah to split the land with almost 50% of muslims left in India( because some of the section of muslim leadership trusted M.K. Gandhi). But with the only face available (Jinnah) died in one year (1948) with no resources left, Nation went into choas. Army filled the gap with military dictatorship and brought some order. But, Military can't feed the people for long, so they need the glue that is religion and they kept the flame in the name of "K" in the name Pakistan - "Kashmir". After 3 wars ( 1948,1965,1970) and defeat in 1970, even the Democracy loving Zulfikar Ali Bhutto propped up the religion, only to be killed by the US propped General Zia-ul-Haq who promptly served US interests in Afghanistan while taking the religious flavor to the current level of "Jihad".

After 72 years of "Kashmir as the distraction" to the poor pakistani population and 4 wars, more than 50,000 dead, suddenly Kashmir disappeared from the dictionary of hot spots, atleast temporarily. Modi used his clout to silence Pakistani financiers -West, Islamic world mainly Saudi's and China. I guess they don't have outlet in India currently, so they might have turned to West.

I have referred to this problem, a few times in my posts. They may REALLY consider something like this or similar... However, also as I said it would be rather provocations toward France, a false flag operation, because they, just as well, could be all in the pact at some level, behind the public.

Bangladesh Group Gives Government 24 Hours To Shutter French Embassy In Dhaka

On November 2nd, Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh issued a 24-hour ultimatum to the government to shut down the Embassy of France in Dhaka.
Junaid Babunagari, secretary general of the organization, issued the ultimatum after calling off their march and siege program near Malibag-Mouchak flyover of Shantinagar.
Prior to that, a rally of several hundreds of Hefazat leaders and activists, who gathered in front of the national mosque Baitul Mukarram, started marching to lay siege on the French embassy in Dhaka.
The rally was called off after the rally crossed Bijoy Nagar intersection, following a police barricade.
“Showing respect to the duty of law enforcement officials, journalists, and the emotion of the participating Muslim brothers, we are stopping here today,” Junaid Babunagari said while addressing the rally from a pick-up van.
He also warned:
We will not stop here in our next program. We will go to the embassy and destroy it if our demands are not met.
“[French president] Emmanuel Macron should beg for forgiveness. We will not return home until the government presses home the demands. Statues made in the name of sculptures should be taken down,” he added.
Before the march began, Junaid Babunagari demanded introducing capital punishment for anyone found guilty of insulting Prophet Muhammad in Bangladesh.
He also demanded that the Bangladesh government sever all diplomatic ties with France in protest of the display of a caricature of Prophet Muhammad.
He also urged all the Muslim majority countries as well as OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) affiliated countries to cut all the diplomatic ties with France.
“France insulted our Prophet (pbuh). We ask everyone to boycott French products. Keep French products under your feet,” he added.
More than 20 European Muslim organizations have called on French President Emmanuel Macron to end his “divisive rhetoric”, as the fallout between France and the Muslim world continues.
In an open letter published on October 31st, the organizations from several countries including the Netherlands, Finland and Italy said the French leader has failed to provide “strong moral leadership” following the killing of a teacher and three worshippers in a church in Nice.
“Maligning Islam and your own Muslim citizens, closing mainstream mosques, Muslim and humanitarian rights organizations, and using this as an opportunity to stir up further hatred, has given further encouragement to racists and violent extremists,” the signatories said, urging Macron to rethink what they called his “unilateral assault on Muslims, Islam and Prophet Muhammad”.
“The moral high ground that we invite you to, is to reject hatred, marginalization and divisive rhetoric, and use your leadership to bring people together.”
While Muslims in France have condemned the killing of the teacher, they have also expressed fears of collective punishment amid a government crackdown targeting Islamic organizations and attacks by vigilante groups on mosques.
In their letter, the signatories denounced the French government’s crackdown, including the closure of mosques and charities authorities had accused of inciting hatred, among other things.
“This opportunistic behavior undermines the principles of the rule of law by closing down associations based on political motivations and without sound legal procedures,” they said.
French President Emmanuel Macron, in an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, said his words were distorted, stressing that political leaders had intentionally led people to believe the caricatures were a creation of the French state.

“The caricatures are not governmental projects, but emerged from free and independent newspapers that are not affiliated with the government,” he said.
“I understand the sentiments being expressed and I respect them. But you must understand my role right now, it’s to do two things: to promote calm and also to protect these rights,” Macron said.
“I will always defend in my country the freedom to speak, to write, to think, to draw,” he added.
He also said the “radical Islam” he was trying to fight was a threat to all people, especially Muslims.
“Today in the world there are people who distort Islam and in the name of this religion that they claim to defend, they kill, they slaughter … today there is violence practised by some extremist movements and individuals in the name of Islam,” Macron said.
“Of course, this is a problem for Islam because Muslims are the first victims,” he added. “More than 80 percent of the victims of terrorism are Muslims and this is a problem for all of us.”
In France itself there’s a standoff between Armenians and Azerbaijani’s, since Paris supports Yerevan in the fighting for Nagorno-Karabakh.
There haven’t been any other attacks, but there have been protests against the treatment of Muslims.

Where will it stop now. If the consortium need a war to achieve it agenda, a war they will start. I remember that the Cs said that Turquie will be destroy by the USA and for that you need a war. We may be close to a big false flag that will ignite the islamist world again the west.

A girls’ religious school in Islamabad staged a mock beheading in front of its young students as a cleric preached that Muslims would exact vengeance on France – and on the West in general – for “insulting” Prophet Mohammed.
A woman in full face veil uses a scimitar to behead an effigy in front of hundreds of assembled students, many holding signs sporting protest slogans, in video posted to the official Facebook account of Jamia Syeda Hafsa, a Pakistani girls’ seminary, last week.

The disturbing scene and excerpts of a fiery sermon that accompanied it have since been picked up by Muslim-skeptical English language outlets, at least one of which claimed the effigy is of French President Emmanuel Macron, though there is no evidence in the video that this is the case. Macron has come under fire from Muslims around the world for his government’s recent efforts to crack down on Islamic extremism following the beheading of history teacher Samuel Paty last month by a Chechen Muslim immigrant.
Video of the beheading is set to a song that lyrically vows to “grind into dust” those who draw the Prophet Mohammed and declares beheading to be the only fitting punishment for insulting him. The grisly pageant was accompanied by a sermon in which the female cleric vowed vengeance on the enemies of Islam, especially France.
So far only one of your brethren has gone to hell,” the cleric declared, adding that “we will never stop until we exact vengeance for your insult” – presumably the obscene cartoon drawing of the Prophet that Paty reportedly showed his class as part of a lesson on free speech.

You started this, but we will finish it,” she continued, asking if it was “possible” for France to “insult our prophet and retain the glory of Paris.”
Nor did she spare France’s allies, vowing a larger revenge in what seemed to be retaliation for the ongoing ‘war on terror’ that has left Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan in ruins. “Along with France, all enemies of Muslims will need to understand the flames you spread to us in the East will now reach you in the West,” the cleric said.
If you let us be in peace you’ll be able to live in peace. Your peace is tied to ours,” she proclaimed.
While the effigy beheaded in Islamabad may not have been Macron, the French president has been enthusiastically “mutilated” in effigy elsewhere. A massive protest outside the French embassy in Dhaka included an effigy-burning, and a small group of Muslims burned photographs of the leader outside the French embassy in Moscow on Friday.

Macron’s crackdown on radical Islam has polarized Muslims and non-Muslims alike, with some feeling it’s too little, too late and others seeing it as an-all-out war on Muslims. The president acknowledged that caricatures of Mohammed like the one published by satirical outlet Charlie Hebdo in 2015 might be “shocking” but has vowed to protect freedom of speech in France – at least when it comes to displaying politically incorrect cartoons.
Despite its inflammatory content, the video apparently did not violate Facebook’s policy on inciting violence, even though it included a direct call for Muslims to “spill their blood” defending the honor of the Prophet.

And we know where Trump stand again terrorism

I wondered who this (Junaid Babunagari) guy is?
Junaid Babunagari is a Bangladeshi Hadith scholar. He served as the assistant director[of Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam Hathazari, and secretary general of Hefajat-e-Islam Bangladesh. On 17 June 2020, Babunagari was relieved of duty of assistant director by the Shura committee of Madrasha, which said he was relieved because of his illness. But Babunagari said he was removed and he himself did not want to resign ... Aged 24 he began teaching at Al-Jamiatul Islamiah Azizul Uloom Babunagar. Afterwards he left Babunagar Madrasah for joining Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam. When Hefajat-e-Islam Bangladesh was formed on 19 January 2010, he became its secretary general. He serves as a teacher of a hadith and assistant director of Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam.
What is this organization Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam ?
Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam was first established in 1896 CE. It was moved to its present location in Hathazari, Bangladesh in 1901. The Jamiah introduces the Islamic education and Reformation movement in this region. Darul Uloom Deoband was established in Indian Subcontinent in 1866 CE. A few Ulema of the port-city Chittagong took the decision to establish Al-Jamiatul Ahlia Darul Ulum Moinul Islam according to the constitution of Darul Uloom Deoband. To apply this decision Habibullah along with Abdul Wahed, Azizur Rahman and Abdul Hamid established the madrasah.

The Hathazari Madrasah became "arguably the most reputable Quomi madrasa in the country."

Starting in 2004, the Hathazari Madrasa has been at the centre of media attention due to allegations that it is a haven for "terrorist" training.
This is the first time in the institution's long history that such allegations have been made against the madrasah itself.

On February 2010, 40 students were arrested for clashing with police and later released. Students had snatched a service rifle.
He looks political nobody, just a disgruntled religious leader. Unfortunately, these type of situations gives voice to these type of people.

It’s good to see Muslims, in both the interest of society as a whole and indeed themselves speaking up loudly and condemning the attacks, distancing themselves from radical Islam, and reassuring people in the West that they mean us no harm. The West should respond in kind. I found the below article, which addresses the very real fears that Muslim people have that they have of growing hostility towards them. All I see is here is self-pity and feeling victimised, but no attempt at building bridges. However, there are plenty of Islamists with empathy for the West and who are not given a voice in big mainstream media outlets.

After Terror Attacks, Muslims Wonder About Their Place in France

These statements are much more encouraging:

“We strongly condemn the violence and are here to show that we are for peace,” the NGO’s chair, Hatice Özütürk, said at Saturday’s event.
Saying that their initial plan was to form a human chain to signal that they are the shield against any would-be attack against the Christian community but gave up on the idea to observe measures prompted by the pandemic, Özütürk added, “This savagery that took place in Nice is in no way reconcilable with Islam or any other religion.”

“I would like to thank you all for the solidarity you have expressed on behalf of the Rastatt Catholic community. We are all shocked by what happened in Nice, and we mourn the dead. As people of faith, we should always stand with the good and protect mutual love and respect,” Gia-Hoa Thomas Nguyen, who attended the event representing the church, said.
