FRV songs !!!

sometimes also the signing on a language we can relate to is important too ... so I share this one from my lands ... it is a traditional song about tree and rain and a girl and young man and how they love to be together under the tree when it is rain ...

edited / and this image just showed up in front of me when I shared this ...

Why the new thread?

Do you not know?

Led Zeppelin? Really?

Good bye.

@LongCloud,

I am not necessarily a Led Zeppelin fan. I have an eclectic taste in music. You seem very offended and I was not trying to offend anyone.

Here are the lyrics of Stairway to Heaven.

Led Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
[Intro]
[Verse 1]
There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And when she gets there, she knows if the stores are all closed
With a word she can get what she came for

Oohoohooh oohoohoohoohooh

And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings
In a tree by the brook there's a songbird that sings
Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven

And I think you can see that

Ohh
[Chorus]
And it makes me wonder, sure does
Oh hoh hoh, hohooh ohoohohooh, yes sir

[Verse 2]
There's a feelin' I get when I look to the west
And my spirit is crying for leaving
In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees
And the voices of those who stand looking

Ah hah. Ah hah
Ah hah. Ah hah. Ahhhahhohoohohooh

[Verse 3]
And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune
Then the piper will lead us to reason
And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
And the forests will echo with laughter
Does anybody remember laughter?

Baby! Oh, baby look...

Just give it to me, give it to me, give it to me

Sure does, sure does
But I got some good news, listen...

[Verse 4]
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now
It's just a spring clean for the May queen
Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on
I hope so

Oohh! Baby, baby, baby
Ya, darlin' babe
Ya, darlin' babe
Ya, darlin' babe

Wait a minute...

[Verse 5]
Your head is hummin' and it won't go in case ya don't know
The piper's callin' you to join him
Dear Lady, can you hear the wind blow and did you know
Your stairway lies on the whisperin' wind?

Ohh hah hahhahhh

[Guitar Solo]

[Bridge]

And as we wind on down the road
Our shadows taller than our souls
There walks a lady we all know
Who shines white light and wants to show
How everything still turns to gold, yeah
And if you listen very hard
The tune will come to you at last
When all is one and one is all
To be a rock and not to roll, not to roll

[Outro]
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
Ahhahhhhohhahhoh

This song may be an example that some messages can be delivered in sweet-sounding packages. The meaning in the lyrics are not totally clear and could be interpreted differently by different listeners. They do have what seems to be occult references to maybe the god Pan etc. I am not endorsing the group or all words in the lyrics.

It does depend on who the "piper" is I think and the direction we want to go after "rising".

Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
There's still time to change the road you're on
I hope so

Nature and pipers can be used by either "path" I suppose.

Session 25 August 2006:
Q: (Laura) Is there a park out in nature where they have barbeque things? (Guest:SD) There’s a park on the east coast. (Laura) Are there a lot of people? (Perceval) You can go for a walk. You can say “K***, let’s just spin around”. (Laura) Do you have a balcony with a BBQ? (Guest:SD) No. (Perceval) No, they can go to a park. (Guest:SD) The East Coast Park. (Laura) So go for a walk and do some spinning. You know, you spin and fall on the ground. (Guest:SD) Should anybody else be with K*** and myself?

A: Not really.

Q: (Andromeda) What about music? Should there be any music? (Mr. Scott) Pink Floyd?

A: Celtic is always good. Got a piper?

Q: (Perceval) Do we have a piper? (Galahad) Michael Collins? (Laura) I wrote him a nasty letter today. (Galahad) Yeah? (Laura) Yeah. I listened to that interview and I just told him he ought to be ashamed of himself. (Guest:SD) What about pipes? (Laura) Take a little portable radio out with you and listen to some good music with pipes. What do you call those funny pipes? (Perceval) Uilleann pipes. (Guest:SD) Like Riverdance. (Laura) Yeah. (Guest:SD) What time of day should I do this?

A: 2241 UT.

It was a little challenging...:-/

How about some Inuit FRVs?

I'm full of admiration for this lady. However, I should spend some time sorting it out in my head, to learn to listen to this kind of music, for this moment it is too outstanding for me, but interesting.

If you allow me, I would like to follow the blow and share another Pink Floyd, only PF has THIS sounds...

The piece with amazing sounds ->

By the way. Good music, and much lighter in listening, without such deep as Pink Floyd, but good for turn on emotional vibrations in the group. Always love this song ->

and this one is also one of our traditional songs based a lot on gypsy tradition as well as our Celtic tradition ... what I like about our folk songs, their lyrics are not with some direct deep meaning, but the rhythm, the visual aspect of the feel you get when the lyrics merge with rhythm of the music and dance provoking certain twirl of noble emotions that you value on a higher level and makes you not feel fear to be human and strong and vulnerable at the same time ...

This song is actually a very very sad love story, but with this tune, it brings sadness to a level of understanding that it is how it is but love is always there ... what I understood we need at FRV

Čula jesam da se dragi ženi

Čula jesam da se dragi ženi,
čula jesam da se dragi ženi.

Nek se ženi drago je i meni,
nek se ženi drago je i meni.

Aj, i ja ću mu u svatove doći,
aj, i ja ću mu u svatove doći.

Lijepe ću mu darove donijeti,
lijepe ću mu darove donijeti.

U lijevoj ruci kitu ružmarina,
u lijevoj ruci kitu ružmarina.

A u desnoj malenoga sina,
a u desnoj malenoga sina.

I Did Hear About My Darling Getting Married
I did hear about my darling getting married,
I did hear about my darling getting married.

May he get married, I'm also glad.
May he get married, I'm also glad.

Well, I will too come to his wedding,
Oh, I will too come to his wedding.

I will bring him nice presents,
I will bring him nice presents.

In my left hand a rosemary bundle,*
In my left hand a rosemary bundle.

And in the right one my small son,
And in the right one my small son.

Thanks, @solarmind,

It's such a joyful song that reminds me of my family reunions. It's such a universal message in an STO way to be joyful for someone else's joy.

For those of you that Spotify, here is a link to a playlist called happy dance music. I can’t claim that every song raises our FRV, but many of them do and during these times it is nice just to keep it light and happy.

I hope you enjoy

Well, it is all a matter of taste and that taste is going to depend on soul development. I have never resonated with sappy sweet syrup. Nor have I resonated with those overtly suggesting to me what I should think or feel.

As for the Floyd, I followed them from very early on and saw them live 4 times. The whole point was their sound, emotional impact and lyrical content was often new and other worldly, especially early on. (I always loved Grandchester Meadows.)

So FRV songs...what does that mean to you?

To me, it means other-worldly. Non-standard thoughts... detached from the norm. A synchronous resonation of feelings deep within the subconscious. An awakening of deep emotion stored before birth.

OK, @BHelmet,

This is your chance to share your kind of "music". I know you can do it. (I am an old guy and I am jealous you saw 4 live PF performances).

Just be "soulful".

I am sure I would have probably liked your selections. I just don't use Spotify much.
