The battle with Ukrainian saboteurs in the Bryansk region — what is known by this minute (MAP)

"Russian Spring" has collected information about what is happening at this moment in the border area of the Bryansk region, where the FSB and the military are fighting with Ukrainian saboteurs who have infiltrated the Russian Federation.

The information coming from the field is extremely contradictory, which can be said with the greatest degree of confidence:

► A moving car (not a bus!) was fired at in the village of Lyubechan, the driver was killed, the girl was injured, hospitalized.

Another child, a boy, was also injured, his life is out of danger, Andrei Bardukov, Deputy governor of the Bryansk region, told reporters.

Russia insists to be included in fair and swift investigation over Nord Stream sabotage, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

4 hours ago (Updated: 2 hours ago)

I thought this is a interesting news in this war of attrition though it is could simply be for public consumption. It basically depicts hopelessness of the situation in the western camp.

After initial reluctance, Germany caved to US pressure and confirmed in January that it would send its Leopard 2 main battle tanks (MBTs) to Ukraine, on the condition of Washington pledging to deliver 31 M1 Abrams tanks to the Kiev regime. Russia has warned that Western tanks will be destroyed just like other foreign weaponry funneled to Ukraine. The Kiev regime should begin to cover at least part of the cost of arms shipments it receives, instead of totally relying on an endless supply of free weapons from the West, US Assistant Secretary of Defense for International Security Affairs Celeste Wallander said. Ukraine's authorities haven’t done any big figure procurement from American companies,” Wallander told Congress, adding:

They don’t have that scale of capability in their budget right now… but it’s a very good point that we also need to transition them to start their own defense spending planning as well as everything else we will do to support them.”
...
As to the American M1 Abrams tanks promised earlier to Ukraine, the US Army currently does not have any tanks "that could be transferred or sent to Ukraine,” Wallander was quoted as saying. The Pentagon official noted that funds previously allocated towards helping Ukraine are "sufficient for current plans."

The delivery of US-made Abrams tanks to Ukraine may take up to a year or even more, Army Secretary Christine Wormuth said on February 23.

"It’s not going to be a matter of weeks; I will say that. None of the options that we’re exploring are weeks or two months. There are longer timelines involved. But I think there are options that are less than two years, less than a year and a half," Wormuth said during a Defense Writers Group event. Wormuth added that it remained unclear whether the tanks will be delivered by the end of the year.

US President Joe Biden has vowed to support Ukraine for as long as it takes,” despite rapidly depleting stockpiles, with Washington committing more than $31.7 billion in security assistance to support Kiev authorities. Earlier in the year, Germany finally gave in to Washington's pressure and committed to sending 14 Leopard 2A6 tanks to Kiev, after the United States said it would send Ukraine 31 Abrams tanks and eight M88 recovery vehicles. Poland said it could send 14 Leopard 2 tanks, with Kiev's other allies also promising to do their bit.

However, the warmongering stance on the part of the Biden administration has been opposed by some politicians within the US Republican Party. In February, a group of GOP lawmakers put forward the Ukraine Fatigue Resolution, urging Washington to end its military and financial aid to Ukraine” and calling on “all combatants to reach a peace agreement.”

What happened in Bakhmut is not surprising. Russia always had the upper hand as it is fighting without any constraints to get supplies. Of course Zelensky & Company had to listen to the Master, else Demented Joe would have arrive in Poland with Bakhmut lost. That would not have helped the theatrics there.

There are some very good photos in the following. That is how an advantage in artillery looks. It allows you to slowly destroy hiding places of the enemy before your own troops are sent into the location.

Why hurry when you have such an advantage.

Ukro terror attack in the Bryansk region :

in the Bryansk region.

At 12 o'clock it says:

1. 2 civilians were killed (including one child). Several people are injured

2. Unspecified number of civilians taken hostage.

3. Fighting continues in the area of the village of Sushany.
In terms of the situation, everything is quite prosaic - the shelling of border villages and the actions of the DRG in the border areas are the result of the withdrawal of Russian troops from the northern regions of the Sumy, Chernigov and Kharkov regions. Without the establishment of military control over these areas, the shelling and actions of the DRG against the border settlements will continue.

Also, the refusal to recognize the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense and the Security Service of Ukraine as terrorist organizations continues to be puzzling, although their actions are completely identical to those of ISIS. We see here, we don't see here. The infantile approach continues to triumph.

The authorities of the Bryansk region reported that a battle with Ukrainian terrorists continues in the area of the village of Sushany. At the same time, the authorities officially denied reports of the alleged seizure of the school and the shooting of the school bus.

The governor of the Kursk region reported that a civilian was killed as a result of the shelling of the border village of Tetkino.

In the Bryansk region, the security forces continue their operation against Ukrainian terrorists who have penetrated the border. I hope no one is allowed to leave.

FSB official:

In the border Klimovsky district of the Bryansk region, the FSB of Russia and the attached forces of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation are taking measures to destroy armed Ukrainian nationalists who violated the state border.

In the Sumy and Chernihiv regions, an air alert has been declared. Expect missile strikes on the border areas with the Bryansk region.

Regarding the reports that the enemy is trying to send some reinforcements to the terrorists stuck in the Bryansk region, there are no verified confirmations of this at 12-50. The situation is traditionally accompanied by a wave of stuffing and various disinformation. We are waiting for invoices from the area of events from our specialists.

Details of the attack on a car with children in the Bryansk region from Baza
“According to the children’s story, there was a driver and three children in the car: a boy Fyodor from the third grade and two girls, Zlata and Lena. The children were taken from the village of Brakhlov to Novy Ropsk – there they were supposed to be picked up by a school bus.
On the way, they were suddenly attacked by a group of unknown men - the driver died immediately, and Fedor was wounded in the chest. Nevertheless, he helped the girls out, told them to hide in the forest.
Later, the injured boy was able to catch a car on the same road - she took the children away from the scene of the attack. Fedor immediately called an ambulance. According to doctors, a fragment or a bullet passed along the rib. The guy has already undergone surgery, now his life is not in danger.

Tough kid, shot in chest and still helps two more to escape into the forest and hide…

How will Russia answer? 🤔

A video on youtube caught my eye, it was about racism during the evacuations in the Ukrainian war - about a year ago, at the start of the invasion.

So it got me wondering why 'Nazi' became more descriptive of the Ukrainian cause than 'racist'... I think it is because it cloaks and deflects and trivializes the actions taking place as it is being undertaken.

'Nazi' harkens back to a time - real or imagined - where people were gassed, liquidated and cremated or put in mass graves. So, there is drama in the use of the word. Maybe it is descriptive of the same behavior - but to a lesser degree - racist being a overused description; not as effective. So Nazi is preferred.

And Nazi can shift from racial to ideological, so it is shape shifting in meaning.

And there are the histories and symbolism, of course.

Then we have Christianity and their love of Israel, who are always taking their side - who are anti-nazi - supporting Ukraine? So, maybe the label 'Nazi' is also concealment. A way of inciting men against one another, hiding behind a historical precept that Nazis are necessarily gentiles.

So, Africans, Indians, are seeing the Nazism in action, which has been the case - discrimination - and aren't so motivated to stand in favor of Ukraine.

So, what Putin says, or what Zelensky or Biden says, isn't as important as what the masses perceive. And when races see how low they are in importance, the more they will group, because that is how they survive. The notion of tolerance and acceptance and brotherhood is nice, but in a arena of warfare, racism is a tool and weapon of power. And when everyone is informed, leadership is for want of a villain, to channel everyone's aggressions. Nazis.
But as activism against racism is worn out, Nazism is just a re-skin of the same identity erasing scheme to ally against a common enemy - racial and ideological being most primal and self destructive.
So, you'd think that races rallying together is a good thing... Or bad... But at least they have a sense of where they stand and not serve a two-faced lie that is best understood as contradiction, hypocrisy, and deceit.

So it got me wondering why 'Nazi' became more descriptive of the Ukrainian cause than 'racist'... I think it is because it cloaks and deflects and trivializes the actions taking place as it is being undertaken.
I would say how difficult everything is with you. In my opinion, everything is much simpler and more literal. There is a concept of race, and there is a concept of nation, that's where these names come from. Extolling some race over others is a racist, extolling a nation over others even belonging to the same race is a Nazi. Some theorists are still trying to find differences between Nazis and nationalists, but my opinion is that you can build different constructions as much as you want and find some meanings in all this, but the question is why? The basic meaning is clear enough, and so the whole character is brown or he is brown only "to the waist" is not so important. I hope it's clear what brown has to do with it. As for the Ukrainians, they are certainly Nazis. The slogans: "glory to the nation-death to the enemies" and "Ukraine over everything" are quite eloquent. The second of these clearly refers to history, to the German slogan of the times of the Third Reich: "Germany is above all" and this is irrational for me. I cannot understand why all these Nazis, not only Ukrainian, but also many others take an example in this notorious Third Reich. Didn't they learn history at all? What a tragic and rather quick end happened to this "thousand-year-old third Reich", although they managed to do a lot of heinous things. If we assume some kind of internal need to destroy people by industrial means, then we can take an example from those German fascists, they succeeded in this. This is how I try to find at least some logic in the aspirations of modern Nazis for myself.

According to the video, a number of participants in the attack on Bryansk villages were identified. It seems that all those identified are related to Russia and most of them are "ideological" fascists.

Participants of the attack on the Bryansk region: fascists and the actor who starred with Sobchak (PHOTO)
A number of participants in the terrorist attack on the Bryansk region have been identified. Among them:

► 37-year—old Denis Kapustin is an accomplice of the "Cleaver" from Moscow. Grew up in Germany, moved to Kiev in 2017. In August 2022, he became one of the founders of RDK.

► Yaroslavl fan of Hitler and swastikas named Oswald Lemoch — left for Ukraine in 2018.

► Kirill Kanakhin is a poet, actor and partner of Ksenia Sobchak on the filming of the film "No one knows about Sex — 2". He also played in the TV series "Capercaillie-3", "Simple Truths", "Obsession", etc. Then he was a yoga teacher, after he moved to Ukraine.

► Ilya Bogdanov (2.08.1988, Vladivostok). Ex-border guard, defected to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in 2014.

По видео опознали ряд участников атаки на брянские села. Похоже, что все опознанные имеют отношение к России и все "идейные" фашисты.

This starts as a sort of normal discussion about the SMO, but I was surprised to hear a very heart-based talk develop, focused on building bridges to go beyond Russophobia. Maybe it was due to the feminine influence of the interviewer, Ania, who is asking about solutions at the level of culture and emotions. I haven't noticed many women discussing the SMO. Notes:

- Can the Polish government even contribute to the larger conflict? They have no more weapons, almost everything has been given away, and few people want to fight.

- Anyone who studies Russian doctrine knows that Russia doesn’t initiate offensive operations. Their defence absorbs attack and responds afterwards. Poland doesn’t have military capability to move against Belarus.

- Supreme Allied Commander of US forces in Europe gave a presentation in Sweden in January where he admitted that the scope and scale of this conflict is beyond our imagination. So the war is unthinkable to them now. He is an American General speaking about the best troops in NATO, and he’s saying Americans won’t survive on that battlefield. Polish officers are not insane, they are professional – and they won’t get themselves involved in a joint Russian-Belarussian force, which would easily grind all the way to Warsaw.

- Any conflict force coming from Poland would be small arms, in other words, cannon fodder. Some insane Poles may attempt an attack, or they may be forced into such a situation.

- Is Kiev the next Berlin? Will Russia take Kiev? It is possible, but there is no way to tell what the Russian General Staff think. There is definitely contingency planning for taking Kiev, but whether they will or not depends on realities of the battlefield. The main aim is to cull the mobilization potential of Ukraine, ie. physical annihilation of the army. Clausewitz: the main aim of war is to compel the enemy to do our will.

- So long as the Russian government believes that keeping the Ukrainian regime intact can contribute to a negotiated settlement, the regime (not necessarily Zelensky) will continue to operate. They may threaten Kiev to force a settlement, but there’s no reason to get involved in an urban fight in the midst of millions of people and destroy a city that is central to Slavic culture. They will most likely continue with the meat grinder.

- Russia’s long term goal goes beyond the defeat of the regime in Ukraine. Eventually they will be seeking a new European security arrangement.

- Russophobia has been built over many years and generations to divide and conquer. Very important to build bridges and connect people. How long will it take to lessen the Russophobia to the point it is no longer any threat?

- Americans generally have little Russophobia, it is mostly in the elites. We are in a systemic crisis of Western civilization as a whole – no one knows where it will go. There may be a new cycle of elites, then Russophobia will be tamed somewhat, and some degree of realism. That may be good enough to build new security and diplomatic framework. Russians are done with this American administration and those in Europe – but may talk to new elites. There are some realists currently in the Republican party, and some in Europe – the worse the political and economic conditions get, the more chances a wildcard will show up. Perhaps someone like a Putin will show up out of nowhere in the West.

- Time isn’t on our side; this is a generational issue. An American elite must be re-trained, and there must be an impetus to do so. Either they will be shocked to do so through fear, or by a push from below. Anyone coming up through Stanford is mentored by McFual – elites are injected with the Russophobia disease with their education. There needs to be a shock for this to change, but that shock may destroy America instead.

- Without an arms control agreement, there will be a new arms race, and because of Russophobia, there may be mistakes, leading to nuclear conflict. Ritter functioned his younger days as a marine who wanted to kill Russians, he was fully indoctrinated. Then he got sent to the Soviet Union as a weapons inspector. It took him 6 months, but on a magical evening on New Years the fog was lifted from his eyes as he was invited into someone’s home, and the urge to kill disappeared.

- Arms control can shortcut the program. It can shortcut the nuclear war threat and the Russophobia that drives it because it requires each side make agreements that mutually assure survival of their loved ones.

- It does not take much to build bridges – simply a willingness to connect with another person. Many became very attracted to Russia once the travel sanctions began. Ania was one of them, traveling from Poland, and appreciated her time there.

- People are also similarly programmed against China. Ania mentioned that she would like to go there.

- Apparently Raegan watched a Soviet WW1 film called ‘Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears’ – apparently her discovered the humanity of Russians in this film.

The vision of the Duran about the battle of Bakhmut. Very interesting because they say: when the battle of Bakhmut will be terminated, a new battle will start: Russia against Ukraine versus NATO. We will see.

Counterattack attempted by Ukrainian troops in Krasny Liman direction — LPR officer

According to Andrey Marochko, Ukrainian forces' counterattack was stopped by Russian artillery and motorized infantry units and the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces and the Ukrainian troops "retreated to the positions sustaining losses in manpower and weapons"

LUGANSK, March 3. /TASS/.

Ukrainian troops tried to stage a counterattack in the Krasny Liman direction but were repelled by Russian forces and retreated sustaining losses, Andrey Marochko, a retired colonel of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic, told TASS on Friday.
"In the Krasny Liman direction, the enemy is trying to regain its lost positions. Ukraine’s army staged another attempt to counterattack our advancing forces and regain its lost advantageous positions near the settlements of Makeyevka, Nevskoye, and Chernopopovka," he said.
According to Marochko, Ukrainian forces' counterattack was stopped by Russian artillery and motorized infantry units and the radiation, chemical and biological protection forces and the Ukrainian troops "retreated to the positions sustaining losses in manpower and weapons."
Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov said on Thursday that the Center groups of Russian forces has neutralized up to 160 Ukrainian troops and destroyed a Gvozdika self-propelled system in the Krasny Liman direction."

Side note, currently re-reading a Caesar bio ( in french language ), and it's of great help to face these current events we are witnessing here and to get a broader perspective of war in general.

- Apparently Raegan watched a Soviet WW1 film called ‘Moscow Doesn’t Believe in Tears’ – apparently her discovered the humanity of Russians in this film.
I will allow myself to make a small correction. The movie in question is not about WW1 at all, this movie is about love. The film takes place in the 70s and Andrey calls it the time of the first Cold War. This film is indeed one of the few Soviet films that was awarded an Oscar and, in my opinion, quite rightfully. I advise you to look.

In general, this has not been news for a long time, but suddenly someone has some doubts and I would like to draw the attention of the mentioned Japanese, South Koreans, Filipinos, although they are actually occupied by the Americans, that they will also be treated highly professionally without any doubt.
The American general called the war with Russia by the hands of Ukrainians the highest professionalism
Former national security adviser to former US Vice President Mike Pence, General Keith Kellogg called the use of Ukrainians as "cannon fodder" to fight Russia the pinnacle of professionalism.

"Using Ukraine to fight Russia is the pinnacle of professionalism, because it removes a strategic enemy from the agenda without using any American troops. And then we can focus on our main opponent, which is China," Kellogg said.

The day before, Associated Press journalist Tara Kopp said that the United States used the experience gained in Ukraine to prepare for war with China. In her opinion, China remains "America's biggest problem." The Ukrainian crisis has taught Washington some lessons that could be applied with Taiwan's support. "The future American military campaign is likely to involve much more air and naval forces to allow some of the load to be removed from ground systems and use less ammunition," Kopp wrote.

She also added that Taiwan needs to be "fully armed in advance." The article says that "the war must be started with everything necessary." As one of the main points in preparation for a future clash with China, she outlined the establishment of industrial capacities for the production of more weapons.

Earlier, Frederic Lasse, a columnist for the French edition of Boulevard Voltaire, wrote that the United States is preparing allies for a "theater" of military operations against China, taking as a model Ukraine's military preparation for confrontation with Russia. The author appreciated the recent statement by Lieutenant General James Burman of the US Marine Corps about the conflict in Ukraine, who admitted that after 2014 Washington was seriously preparing for the future confrontation, training the Ukrainian military and working out ways to support Kiev. "We call it theater. And we are preparing a theater of military operations in Japan, the Philippines, and other places," the high—ranking officer pointed out.

As the observer notes, the United States is now preparing a "theater" of war with China. At the same time, Burman's statements were made a few days after the visit of the Japanese Prime Minister to Washington, at a time when Tokyo, together with Berlin, are making an ideological turn, abandoning the pacifist position that they adhered to after the end of World War II.

According to him, these radical changes are encouraged by the Americans, the prospect of an upcoming confrontation with China forces Washington to accelerate the strengthening and unification of its alliances with countries on the other side of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

For this reason, according to Lasse, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea were invited to last year's NATO summit in Madrid. The "accelerated accession" of the European Union to NATO was the final act in the US efforts to bring allies into line with its own security strategy, while the recent joint EU-NATO statement on strengthening partnership and "directly aimed at China," the author summarizes.

At the end of last year, Russia and China declared that they were ready to resist the growing external pressure together, since the countries are interested in each other's prosperity. In addition, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said in early December that NATO is trying to escalate tensions in the South China Sea region, and this creates risks for Russia's security, so Moscow is developing military cooperation with Beijing.
