ONCE UPON A TIME IN AMERIKA...

With the advent of the September 11th twin towers tragedy it was a time when reality literally changed. It was an opportunity for some to awaken to a less than palatable reality or for those to return to a "Truman Show" existence, safe in the certainty that there would still be 60 minutes and I love Lucy reruns. Life could go on as before; nothing and no-one would rock the boat of secure beliefs. Meanwhile, a gaping hole in the awareness is wide open to forces of manipulation to the extent that most are utterly powerless to prevent their intrusion.

September 11th represented an opportunity to resist that intrusion and to fight for the freedom of our own minds and to refuse to accept the blatant lies that have become the bedrock of geo-political strategies. There are hundreds of unanswered questions that point to both corroborative and circumstantial evidence so strong that at the very least, it would lead to the impeachment and criminal prosecution of the President and many other players in this star-spangled performance. Water-Gate and the Iran-contra scandal are confetti in the breeze by comparison.

Money talks.

The link with the Saudi Royal family and the Bush administration is well known, as is the fact that Osma was born in Saudi Arabia. In the 1980s, with assistance from Pakistan, a CIA intelligence operation was implemented in Afghanistan with one of the aims being to manipulate a Russian invasion. A civil war was created whereby doctrines of militant Islam were enhanced and money funnelled into guerrilla training to seed a new fundamentalist power base that could be utilised for further purposes. The Taliban was injected with US aid and nurtured by the intelligence agencies as an experiment in Islamic fundamentalism.

Meanwhile, Russia was drawn across the border and embroiled in its own Vietnam and much to the delight of the Carter and Reagan administrations, leading eventually to the break up of the Soviet Union. Bin Laden trained in this CIA sponsored Islamic guerrilla movement and became the perfect intelligence "pawn." With Pakistan's considerable intelligence connections and the manufactured Islamic militant network enmeshed together - Hey Presto! A ready-made, terrorist infrastructure in the form of Al Qaeda, with Osama at the helm. Once these formidable pieces for the chess board, had been created, "problem-reaction-solution" scenarios could be produced and directed from the comfort of their IRS funded bunkers.

While America presses ahead with its global program it is also possible that Israel had the most to gain from the attacks. In 1999 and up to 2002 there were literally hundreds of reports of Israeli operatives often under the cover of "art students" [xxxi] arriving in the US indicating a comprehensive spy-ring in place aided and abetted by selected American Israelis. The fact that 120 potential spies were detained or deported under the PATRIOT Act is enough to raise a few eyebrows yet media attention is and was wholly inadequate. And what happened to these people? What were the conclusions from questions asked? It is even more interesting that a high concentration of these operatives were found in Florida the centre of 9/11 political deceptions.

In point of fact, why is Bush now playing peace-maker to Israel? Why is Sharon suddenly playing ball while clearly uncomfortable? Any blackmail going on designed to place Bush in the lead? Is the "peace process" designed to de-fuse Israel's stance as aggressor as long as they dance to Bush's tune? Each player has a knife in the other's back, consequently, a simplistic resolution will not be found. Indeed, manipulation may go so deep that Israel may be lined up for a ritual slaughter by their American "friends". If the battle for oil and military conquest becomes threatened the hatred for ordinary Jews and the Zionist elite that has the US in a financial and cultural stranglehold, may just boil over. It was not without good reason that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon stated:

"We the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it." [xxxiii]

The bombing of Afghanistan in 2001 was the first phase of the "war against terrorism" resulting in the creation of a new government in Kabul, the destruction of Al Qaeda bases and the accompanying Taliban regime, formerly cared for by a doting intelligence agency. Bush and lap-dog Blair were lauded as "Defenders of Freedom" though aside from the strategy of deceit behind this military fanfare the end result of the bombing was an enormous loss of innocent civilian lives.

Conservative estimates from a Guardian report for "Indirect" deaths through hunger, cold and disease, total 10,000 to 20,000 people. Deaths directly attributed to the colossal aerial bombardment total around 3,620 civillians. [xxxv] Factor in the consequent civilian death toll from the Iraq war which is presently 7,797. It comes to more than three times the 9/11 number of deaths. This is not to say that the latter was not a tragic waste of lives, what needs to be understood is the fact that Afghan lives and civilians around the world are viewed as expendable "collateral" in the game-plan of the US.

So why was September 11th so important to the controllers? The following are just some of the questions that have been asked surrounding the events of 9/11, also focusing on the conduct of Bush which was lacklustre in the extreme:

WHY…

…at 9.03 am - fifteen minutes after the attack on the WTC - did President Bush sit down with a classroom of school children and begin a pre-planned photo session?

…did NORAD and the FAA say they were not informed until 27 minutes after the air traffic controllers first recognized there was a problem with flight 11? If true, why were no air traffic controllers subject to criminal charges?

…are their seven different accounts from administration and security staff regarding when exactly Bush arrived and left the school?

…when the first media reports of Flight 11's crash into the WTC began around 8.48 two minutes after the crash happened and within minutes millions were aware of the story, is Bush supposed to have remained unaware for a further 10 minutes?

…is Bush shown to have given few if any direct orders to implement any decisive counter measures during the attack?

…did Bush claim to have seen the crash when he did not have access to T.V. until at least fifteen minutes later?

…were Air Force jet fighters not scrambled and actually told to "stand down," the order only being given after 48 minutes had elapsed, by which time it was too late?

…were some FBI personnel told to "back off" from pursuing their anti-terrorist investigations prior to 9/11?

…was the 120 member Israeli spy ring with connections to Mahmud Atta of no importance to the 9/11 commission?

…is the Bid Laden family shielded from investigation?

…were the surface to air defence systems not operational?

…were the Washington D.C. Air National Guard - only one minute from the Pentagon - conspicuous by their absence?

…is there not one shred of evidence that a Boeing 757 hit the Pentagon?

…were none of the hidden panic alerts on the Boeings 757s or the 767s activated?

…were 19 Arab individuals successfully allowed to board the plane when some of them were already suspected of terrorist activity?

…for something as big as a Boeing 757 flying so low did it not hit any light poles or scrape the ground?

…did witnesses report hearing a "whoosing" sound as the plane passed by?

…would a "whoosh" be heard rather than the deafening roar of engines one would except to hear from a jet air-liner?

…did other witnesses describe a "whistling" sound or tat it "whined" like a missile?

…were we told that the aircraft melted due to the impact fire exceeding 2500°C and that it subsequently evaporated, when the interior metal reinforcing of the Pentagon did not similarly melt?

…did the aircraft fly into the least occupied section of the Pentagon?

…would Rumsfeld and other key players still be at their desks in the Pentagon when after 55 minutes warning a Boeing 757 flown by Arab terrorists were on its way? [xxxvi]

So, who profits from the 9/11 attacks? I think we can have a shrewd guess. What better way to ensure a whiter than white justification for the "war on terrorism" when the star performers are targets themselves?

The fact that the entire operation was meticulously planned with absolute foreknowledge did not prevent gargantuan holes from appearing that could be discerned by anyone with a modicum of perspicacity. Such was the strength of their arrogance and perceived omnipotence it did not deter them from their objectives. It seems they have been successful.

As a pretext for the invasion of Iraq and possibly in the future, Iran and Syria, it could be considered an effective coup d'état. It remains to be seen just how aggressive the Bush administration will be with the furthering of its global agenda. The phases in this expansion make take many twists and turns before another turning point in the shape of the 2004 "election." The military machine may be "invincible" but the American citizens are not, and it may be they who will largely bear the brunt of the terrorist attacks should the objectives be thwarted in any way.

If opposition is such that real empowerment becomes a possibility, the powers that be will simply rely on fresh terrorist attacks to bolster their crusade and if none are suitably dramatic to elicit the required emotional energy for manipulation, then, in the best Hollywood tradition, a little extra direction from the movie moguls higher up the pyramid will be forthcoming.

What we are witnessing is, in sense, a natural culmination; a critical mass of extreme negativity reaching its apex, in all probability, within the next 10 years. Grand methods of control have been utilized with ever increasing stakes through spying, deportation, torture and the growing influence of the thought police in science, education, academia and so called social "reform." European and American governments throughout history have always acted unilaterally to enforce the foreign policy directives of "regime change" no more so than in the 20th and 21st centuries.

However, a key difference appears to be that this control is becoming overt and significantly enhanced. One only has to recall the prisoners at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba and the US Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan where breaches of the Geneva Convention and systematic violations of basic human rights are carried out daily.

"War on terrorism" is an effective formula to wage war on any individual, group, organization or country that chooses to have a different opinion to the Bush Junta. If you have something the administration may want and that benefits it's crusade, then all to the good. The US has become the centralised nexus of self-serving ideology. The final irony you might say, if one casts a jaundiced eye over the now forgotten Bill of Rights.

This brings us to three primary acts which have come into force in the wake of 9/11, being positively hurled through Congress on clouds of reflexive fear and outrage. As Bush said himself in Washington D.C., November 2002, blissfully unaware of his gaffe: "The law I sign today directs new funds and new focus to the task of collecting vital intelligence on terrorist threats and weapons of mass production."

The typical, though ridiculously titled USA PATRIOT ACT existed many months before 9/11 and was repeatedly rejected until October 2001 amid an emotional surge of misplaced indignation. This was supported by an almost incessant barrage of draconian measures that are less well known but amount to a significant strengthening of the original act. It allows unfettered secrecy; the criminalization of dissent and the right to protest and the reduction of protections relating to criminal investigations. [xxxvii] The Freedom of Information Act has been reversed and rendered null and void without going through the legislature, which is just as disturbing.

The HOMELAND SECURITY ACT followed closely behind with its own department and huge resources to boot. Once again basic human rights are eroded and a reversal of any ground gained in this area since the civil rights movement of the 1960s. The protection and defence of the American people is stressed while all the time it is the American people that are at the mercy of their "protectors." [xxxviii]

What is particularly disturbing is the appropriation of advanced forms of covert surveillance technology for any and all purposes without accountability. No-one has or will know that they are being monitored or "observed" nor will they be allowed to know the purpose for such surveillance in the unlikely event they should uncover it. Under law.

The National Security Agency is located at Ft. Meade, Maryland. It has the most advanced computers in the world directly contracted and supplied by corporations away from the prying eyes of the public and media. The agency has various projects underway ready to be utilized by the administration or indeed already operational. These include the decoding of EMF waves for tapping into computers and tracking persons; remote analysis of all objects whether man-made or organic, using advanced digital equipment; records on ALL US citizens where in-formation is used for more than 50,000 NSA agents authorized to spy on anyone.

A cost effective electronic surveillance network (incorporating satellite systems that can read the title on the front page of your newspaper) that tracks millions of people worldwide and on a daily basis. The generic name for this surveillance network is called ECHELON with bases in Britain as well as the US. [xxxix] The NSA personnel are both within society and external to it. They are the average businessman and workers of all types using legitimate businesses as cover to inform the NSA of possible persons that should be tracked and observed. [xl] NSA operatives are behind many psychological control projects sourced from years of post second world war and cold war mind control experiments and parallel uses of complimentary technology culminating in an array of neuro-electromagnetic frequency tools that are used by police and military intelligences.

The technology can easily be used from a distance causing the person targeted to be eventually diagnosed as mentally ill or with weakening physical health. Implants and EMF targeted waves have been extensively used, though the former is proving less cost effective. The reality of psychological warfare (PSYCOPS) and mind manipulation is a normal part of intelligence agency operations. These words from an expert in the field gives us some idea as to the mindset that functions at the root of America:

Remind you of Dr. Joseph Mengele at all? We can get a glimpse into the motives of those who created the CIA and the debt they owed to the SS Gestapo and its coveted techniques of mind manipulation. It seems that Yale University has quite a reputation for releasing a legion of psychopaths upon the world let alone the Skull & Crossbones fraternity.

If that were not enough to leave Mary Shelly's jaw hanging, then micro-chipping the population may finish the job. This is not simply another conspiracy theory. The US has already embarked on its ambitious program of implanting its populace. It is also well under way in Mexico City with a target of 10,000 people to have sold their rights away by the end of 2003 - all for your own "protection" of course. [xlii] In the U.K., following the abduction and murder of two school girls in 2002, frightened parents are now considering micro-chipping their children as a "safeguard." [xliii] One delighted microchip user and diabetic described his medical miracle: "…as innovative to me as the cell phone."

That is also exactly how the controllers will use him, under the guise of health and protection. After all it's clearly sensible right? Don't you want to protect your kids and not worry about health and medical bureaucracy? Would the sheep being tagged for identification consider it a benefit before they were herded into the truck bound for the slaughter-house? I doubt it.

The PATRIOT ACT dove-tails neatly into the newly enhanced NSA surveillance protocols, while also re-writing the court's authority in favour of an executive branch that is unaccountable to Congress. (One wonders just how close this comes to a virtual Star Chamber). This executive branch is therefore an unelected body making crucial decisions that affect millions of Americans without their consent. Nevertheless, there continues to be a rising opposition from a significant number of Americans that are resisting the implementation and exercising their right to protest. Councils in cities across the US have passed resolutions condemning the Act as a threat to civil rights. [xliv]

Another storm-trooper of anti-freedom and Christian fundamentalist is Attorney-General John Ashcroft whose PATRIOT ACT II or Domestic Security Enhancement Act of 2003 (don't you just love those reassuring sounding titles?) essentially allows ALL rights to be waived under the guise of fighting terrorism. [xlv] The zeal of Ashcroft was such that he felt it unnecessary to alert Congress to his little addition. The act includes the right to revoke American citizenship should evidence be found - based around Ashcroft's biased and subjective appraisal of what constitutes "evidence" - that the individual supports persons or organizations that the governments considers "terrorist."

With the help of the Justice Department Ashcroft can now detain anyone he chooses, their detainment, imprisonment or release on his word alone. Under Ashcroft's control and with the blessing of Bush, raids have started across America and are set to continue. No warrants are needed. If you happen to be a member of an ethnic minority, an immigrant, Arab, Muslim, or South Asian the outlook is considerably bleaker. Bush's opinion - and those of the neo-conservatives who seem to have been drafted in during his office en masse - does not look favourably on those who do not share the physical characteristics and origins of the Caucasian Christian. For instance, when chatting to Brazilian President Fernando Cardoso in Washington D.C. in November 2001, Junior remarked: "Do you have blacks too?"

With the above mind we can see how The Iraq war could be viewed as a preliminary stage in an expansionist policy where "disarming Iraq" flips over to "liberating Iraq" according to the cracks that are revealed in this clumsily erected propaganda façade. They really don't care. Whatever lies are necessary to ensure an oil monopoly, albeit a surface level objective.

Recall Vice-President Dick Cheney's Halliburton, Condolezza Rice as foreign Policy Advisor with strong links as former employee to ChevronTexaco and Reagan Administration's George Schultz's Betchtel corporations all of whom are directly or indirectly benefiting from the war. (Both Schultz and Cheney's companies received lucrative energy reconstruction contracts in Iraq). [xlvi] It is little wonder Cheney became Bush's running mate after "leaving" his CEO position at Halliburton the biggest oil-field services company.

Although the government and Bush is intent on bull-dozing ahead with their objectives they are mindful of the rising tide of criticism that may prove formidable in the near future. Oil, ideology and elements of the Global Elite's agenda cannot be allowed to falter. Therefore, to keep the propaganda machine literally well-oiled and to ensure further dividends in the Middle East, The State Department under Bush's executive order is busy creating an Islamic media centre to "manage" US communications with the Al Jazeera satellite T.V. network. Divergent opinions are simply not tolerated. So much so, that US teams of spin doctors are being sent abroad to counter potentially damaging statements from those critical of US policy. They KNOW that their lies are paper thin and susceptible to objectivity and logic, so too their own fragile egos.

Just as not a jot of evidence has ever been found for the so called "axis of evil" between Iran, Iraq and North Korea the same conclusion has been reached by most rational persons regarding the accusation that Iraq has weapons of mass destruction. In his State of the Union address Bush claimed that Iraq had various quantities of chemical and biological weapons as well as laboratories and an advanced development program. Not the remotest evidence was found.

Global or individual predators/psychopaths know that the more nastiness they employ the more energy is needed to keep that colossus of negativity fed and watered. Eventually this proves its undoing - it is ALWAYS unsustainable, a form of entropy is inevitable. That being so, what are we to make of all this Whitehouse white-wash? Where will it lead?

It is possible that as the back-lash against the Bush administration continues to gain momentum, it may reach a peak in which this false President is jettisoned from power by another more peace-loving, socially aware and "progressive" candidate of the people. He or she will be intelligent, pragmatic and a dedicated humanitarian; fighting for the rights of both Middle America and those in poverty. He will seek to revive the tarnished image of the US; building bridges and striving for peace. Perhaps he will be the archetypal world citizen bringing the much maligned country back from the brink.

It may well be that the Global Elite and those further up the hierarchy choose one of their many contingency plans whereby they funnel the creative energy of dissent that could oust Bush from power into a new saviour in the true tradition of a Fourth Reich. The people may be reduced to welcoming a candidate that is the ultimate wolf in sheep's clothing, representing the next phase of hoodwinking of the masses.

At this point, we maybe asking ourselves exactly what it is that reincarnates another fascist empire hell-bent on creating conflict and appalling suffering? Why are so many desperate men and women leading this world to a virtual Armageddon? Is it purely for oil? An imperialist game plan? A right wing fundamentalist ideology? Or is it all of the above, finally exploding onto the world scene as part of the natural rise and fall of a civilisation - a bifurcation point of re-emergence?

We cannot underestimate the reality that those in control are several steps ahead and see the earth's people as sheep that can be directed any way they choose. By the same token, the distribution of secret knowledge, far in advance of the masses exists within a convoluted stratum of secret societies, with many players weaving in and out of a confusing kaleidoscope of ideologies: material, political, occult or a fusion of all three. This knowledge is disseminated in an ascending pyramid like "pennies from heaven" where those who proffer various pots of initiatory gold are themselves bound into a system of promised "spiritual" or material treasures yet ironically, all based on a foundation of control and the natural consequence of diminishing returns.

Behind it all lies the Global Elite/Secret Cult/Zionist Cabal/Illuminati/Brotherhood of the Serpent - call it what you will. This is not an imaginative conjuring of an x-files mentality, though they benefit from such conspiracy theory paranoia. If confusion and disinformation reign supreme they are allowed to continue their work without distraction. Conversely, distraction of those who begin to see that the emperor has no clothes is the name of the game.

Nevertheless, what is it that ultimately fuels the imagination of these people to the extent that they are deluded into thinking that they have everything to gain by engineering and perpetuating the lowest of human desires? Perhaps the controllers pay more attention to ancient esoteric and religious prophecies than we may think. If we have been even moderately paying attention to the world in which we live, we may have come to the conclusion that we are living through the "end times" of the Book of Revelations; the end of the last age according to the Mayans. Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce and countless others predicted a future where cataclysmic change would occur. Modern science also supports this, though from the clear environmental devastation and extreme topological changes we can see for ourselves that something of huge significance is occurring, mirroring the chaos of humanity as a whole.

Do the controllers wish to be at the top of the pile when conflict reigns supreme, safe in their underground bunkers? If it rains from the skies in the form of comets or meteors will they be ready or wrong-footed? Have they underestimated the powers of Mother Earth's self-regulatory system and their own hubris? Could it be that the Global Elite are also pawns on a hyper-dimensional chessboard where the apex of the pyramid cannot be seen until it is too late? There may not be any preferential treatment for humankind by those who control us way beyond the limits of our all too human perceptions. Are we ALL ultimately "Food for the Gods" unless we learn to SEE the objective reality and choose our orientation? [xlviii] Perhaps we will find out soon enough.

George Orwell's 1984 warned us of the possibility of an externally imposed oppression, whereas Aldous Huxley's Brave New World alerted us to the opposite that our freedoms and capacity to think would be eroded from within via technology and a manipulated hedonism producing satiated sheep. Both of these visionaries were correct. Ten or twenty years ago the Orwellian nightmare was largely covert, from a Western perspective at least, and the Huxlian social anaesthesia was increasingly "hidden in plain sight." They are now integrating at a frightening pace. Orwell's Big Brother may have been bigger than he suspected.

The British philosopher Bertrand Russell once said: "The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt…" It is Bush and his minions that appear to be "cocksure" and thrive on our doubts. If we vacillate and reason our way out of making a stand for freedom, held fast in some prison of Dostoyevskyian indecision, then we become frozen in a creative no man's land. The only cure for this vision of slavery is QUESTIONING - the natural, magical precursor to the potential freedom of the soul.

One thing is for certain - the US as a global predator will NOT disappear any time soon. It has a vast source of power from which it sustains itself: the IGNORANCE of the masses.

As the intensity of the times increase, we may have to ask ourselves how much we value freedom and truth and whether we are prepared to sacrifice our beliefs, our comfortable routines and the elements of the predator that lie safe and secure within our heavily guarded egos. Are we seeking to change another as a consequence of our lack of ability in doing the necessary work to change ourselves? The importance of relinquishing the desire to change anyone or anything must be a prerequisite in this "battle." Rather, we can exercise our right to refuse manipulation and to defend ourselves against a constant diet of lies. Mahatma Gandhi's words are as relevant now as they were during India's struggle for freedom: "Non-cooperation with injustice is a sacred duty."

We can fulfil that duty by tunnelling through the lies encased like lime-scale on the walls of our own minds. As we do so, it is possible to see the depth of illusions which are cultivated and maintained in the collective mind of the outer world. The majority are happy in those illusions. The majority need those illusions. That is their right. For those of us who are tired to the very depths of our soul with the constant repeating patterns of descent that are manipulated to reoccur whenever the potential for genuine freedom reaches crests of opportunity, we can loosen the grip on these contractile self-serving perceptions and form a chain reaction born from this realisation. Maybe then we can find ourselves experiencing something other than an endless cycle of suffering where any idea of progress is merely an exercise in wishful thinking.

There remains an opportunity for every individual to resist and defend himself against tyranny. It is a hope that a critical mass of CONSCIENCE may alter the reality enough for a split second shift in perception from an increased amplitude of awareness. Events may just be allowed to change and branch into another possibility. And it IS possible should the will be there.

The Future IS open. Nothing is set in stone.

We can continue to believe we are victims and deny our own responsibilities or, we can honour the natural, creative unpredictability of our world by refusing to turn our eyes towards Medusa and to begin to see and choose truth, however difficult to reconcile, thus living a semblance of the freedoms we espouse. If our desire is strong, we can DO something, however small, dedicated to freeing the mind and spirit that has nothing whatsoever to do with any religious doctrine or spiritual dogma but everything to do with reviving the synergy of right human relationships based on exchange and service; where the sacred may constitute an unsentimental rendering of our deepest and impassioned yearning for REAL knowledge and REAL love that allows others and all forms of creation to BE.
